About me & more

As a User Experience Researcher coming from a Psychlogy/Life science background, I had extensive experience in conducting research and data analysis.

My journey to UX starts from mental health and experimental research, but I decided to switch my focus from academia to UX industry.

In my previous experience, I worked in healthcare, government, and Fintech; my previous roles involved in design, qualitative and quantitative research in UX.

How I work in UX

  • I prefer to combine both quantitative and qualitative perspectives to understand the problem first.

  • I use online white board such as miro or figma for structuring and organizing my ideas. These tools can also be helpful to find order out of chaos when doing card sorting and affinity diagramming activities.

  • Usually I am the active listener in team setting and I often keep my own log and diary to keep track my progress on tasks and ask questions if I feel like stucked.

  • I find visualizations convey my findings better from data while understanding the insights.

My UX Philosophies

The Understanding of the Problem is More Important than the Solution

Before diving into the work, it is important to know how to examine the problem, because researchers need to find the right understanding of the problem before designing solution.

More research, Less Painful Design

Understand your audience more, less design problems for sure.
